Ann Yee

2024 solo choreographer

Ann Yee trained at Boston Conservatory of Music and the Ohio State University. As a director, her credits include Rusalka at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, The Human Body at The Donmar Warehouse in London, and As You Like It at Dallas Theater
Center. She made her Broadway debut in 2017 providing the musical staging of Sunday in the Park with George and returned in 2021 as choreographer on the Olivier award winning and Tony nominated Caroline, or Change.

Her choreography has recently appeared in the inaugural season at PAC-NYC in An American Soldier, in London’s West End with the Pulitzer prize winning and Olivier nominated Next to Normal as well as the Olivier nominated South Pacific at Sadler’s Wells. Her work has also been seen at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the English National Opera, Young Vic, Old
Vic, Almeida Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare’s Globe, Chichester Festival Theatre, Hampstead Theatre, Salzburg Festival, Amsterdam’s Royal Theatre Carré, Gothenburg Opera, New York’s Public Theater and St. Ann’s Warehouse, Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Buenos Aires’s Teatro Colón, among others. Her work in film includes A Bigger Splash, starring Ralph Fiennes, and the Royal Court short Off the Page: PPE.
